Nemesis Returns After 8 Years with New Album “VIP”, Releasing May 23

After an eight-year silence, legendary Bangladeshi rock band Nemesis is making a powerful comeback with their fourth studio album, VIP, set to release on May 23 across all major digital platforms.

The 10-track album marks a significant chapter for the band, capturing a blend of emotions shaped by years of personal and global turmoil. In a post shared on their official Facebook page, Nemesis reflected on their journey:

“Our last album was released exactly eight years ago. Since then, we’ve lived through a global pandemic and witnessed the abuse of power. At times, we were overwhelmed by despair, but we also found moments of hope. These 10 songs are the result of those experiences.”

VIP promises to take listeners through that emotional spectrum — from darkness to light, chaos to calm — all crafted under the vision of vocalist and guitarist Zohad Reza Chowdhury, who wrote and composed each track.

The album features two already released singles:

  • “Ghour”, which debuted in December 2023 with a futuristic sonic and visual identity, directed by Cybertron.
  • “Bhanga Ayna”, released in October 2024, continues Nemesis’s signature introspective storytelling.

The current lineup of Nemesis includes:

  • Zohad Reza Chowdhury – vocals & guitar
  • Sultan Rafsan Khan – guitar
  • Ifaz Abrar Reza – guitar
  • Raquibun Nabi Ratul – bass
  • Jeffrey Ovijit Ghosh – drums

To celebrate the album’s release, Nemesis has also announced a series of concerts across Bangladesh and abroad, reuniting with fans both old and new.

VIP will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and all other major streaming platforms starting May 23.
