The United States is devastated by an epidemic. Every day people are dying. This time, the country’s most popular actor, Allen Garfield, died in Corona. At the time of his death, he was 80 years old.
Hollywood actor co-star Rose Blakeley confirmed his death by sharing a post on social media.
Blakeley wrote on Facebook – I wish his peace of mind. He was an extraordinary actor. But he had to lose to Coronavirus.
Garfield stepped into Hollywood in 1968 through the feature film ‘Orgy Girls’. He was then seen in popular films like ‘Nashville’ and ‘The Stunt Man’. Before performing in film, Garfield used to do boxing. He was also a sports reporter.
Earlier on Tuesday, Grammy Award-winning singer John Prine died in Corona. Another 922 people have died in the United States in the last 24 hours. The total death toll has risen to 14,817 in the country till Thursday morning. Of these, only 5,489 died in New York.
Johns Hopkins University says the United States has the highest number of victims so far. There are a total of 4 lakh 31 thousand 838 people infected with the virus.
According to the latest data from the Worldometer, the total number of people affected in the world is 15 lakh 19 thousand 213. Out of these, 88 thousand 531 died. After taking treatment, 3 lakh 30 thousand 877 people have recovered.
