Especially when an event like the Dhallywood Film & Music Awards 2021 comes in town. The event has been taking place in the USA for the past 19 years to commemorate and acknowledge the milestones set forth by the Bengali entertainment industry.
On the 4th of December, 2021, the 19th annual Dhallywood Film & Music Awards was held in New York City, USA. The honorable sponsor for this proud moment for Bangla cinema and the music industry was UTSHOB GROUP a leading conglomerate in Bangladesh.
On this occasion, many awards were being handed out to artists who made a noteworthy contribution on the silver screen. Among them, Shakib Khan, Bappy Chowdhury, and Shobnom Bubly left the most memorable mark in the past year.
The award for the best actor was nabbed jointly by Shakib Khan and Bappy Chowdhury. Speaking of this accomplishment, Shakib Khan posted some videos on his verified Facebook account. In the video, while receiving the award presented to him by the CEO of UTSHOB GROUP, Raihan Zaman, Shakib Khan had stated, “The fact that this award program has been running for 19 years is amazing, I am very happy for the honor.”
Bappy Chowdhury had also posted this image on his verified Facebook account with a caption, “36 hours of journey, a bunch of tired stories and a hectic day:- but still the day ends with a glowing moment of receiving such a prestigious award. Thanks to all the organisers of “Dhallywood Film & Music Awards 2021” for awarding me as Best Actor. Love to all the audiences for supporting me throughout my journey….

While the honor of the best actor was shared by the two male artists, the award for the best actress found its sole owner in the hands of Shobnom Bubly. Showing her gratitude, she had thanked Dhallywood Film Awards for appreciating her hard work.
The proceedings of the whole award ceremony sailed by smoothly without a hitch and were graced with power-packed performances by renowned stars from Bangladesh. While the red carpet event for the occasion welcomed celebrities hailing from all over the world.
