The below homemade summer drinks are to beat the heat and will serve you the enhancing taste.
Honey Melon Mocktail
To make this mocktail you will be needing 2 cups cubed muskmelon, 1 cup orange segment, 1 cup coconut water, 1 tbsp honey and 1 tsp orange zest.
First peel off all the fruits and cut them according. Try to freeze them for 1 hour at least. In a blender, blend the frozen melon and orange first. Blend until smooth and thick paste. Next add coconut water, honey, and orange zest and blend all together. Your mocktail is ready to sip. To get thinner consistency add more coconut water or plain water.
Virgin Sangria
Traditional sangria may require alcohol but we bring you completely non-alcoholic version of this popular drinks. You will need 2 cups soda water, 1 cup guava juice, 1 cup pomegranate juice, ½ cup orange juice, ¼ cup pomegranate, ¼ cup sliced red apples, ¼ cup grapes and orange syrup (water+sugar+orange rind).
Start by preparing the fruit slices and juice. Now in jug drop the sliced fruits at the bottom. Then, add juices and orange syrup to the end. Give it a light stir before adding soda water. Leave the liquid to chill in the fridge before serving.
Mango Orange Mojito
1 cup orange juice, 1½ cup lemon soda, ½ cup mango puree, 1 tbsp lime juice, 1 tsp lime zest, 1 tsp orange zest, 1 tbsp sugar, Bunch of mint leaves, ice cubes.
Get smooth mango puree and the zests first. Then lightly muddle mint leaves with a tablespoon of sugar to attain a deep mint flavor. Be careful to avoid bitterness. In a blender, blend the mango puree along with orange juice and lime juice. Next pour lemon soda and sprinkle the zests. Mix nicely with a spoon. Lastly drop few ice cubes before serving this chilled drink. Also garnish with slices of lime, orange, and mint leaves.
Sugar free chocolate Panna cotta
If your thirst has a sugar restriction, then try out this sugar free panna cotta recipe. To make this get 60ml water, 7gm gelatin powder, 480ml fresh cream, 50gm sugar free dark chocolate and 1 tsp pure vanilla extract.
Pour some cold water in small bowl and sprinkle gelatin. Keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a saucepan heat cream and vanilla extract. When start boiling remove from the heat and stir in gelatin. Add chocolate immediately after and whisk until smooth and dissolved. Pour this cream mixture serving dishes, refrigerate until completely set. Decorate with fresh fruit or barriers just before serving.
