This is the quick yummiest dessert according to our traditional culture. In a rural area, it is the utmost favorite item for all for Eid occasions. Given below the recipe –

Ingredients

1tblsp raisins

1 cup basmati rice

3 green cardamoms

Ten almonds (optional)

1 cup jaggery grated

2litres milk

1 tbsp sugar

The Process of making Jaggery Pudding:

  • Clean and wash the rice.
  • Remove and let it dry for an hour.
  • Blanche the almonds and slice.
  • Wash the raisins.
  • Boil milk.
  • Lower the warmth up and still boil stirring perpetually for fifteen to twenty minutes.
  • Combine within the rice and still fry until the rice is soft. combine in sugar.
  • Still, fry until the milk has reduced to 0.5.
  • Combine in saccharide and blend.
  • Combine within the cardamoms, almond slices and raisins (if using) and stir well.
  • Serve cold.
