Lamb Meatballs with Lemon Mint Yogurt Sauce

These lamb meatballs are spiced up with cumin, cilantro, and mint and presented with a conventional Greek yogurt sauce. Makes for an extravagant hors d’oeuvre for a mixed drink party.

Elements

Meatballs:

1 pound ground lamb

¼ cup finely diced shallots (or white onion)

1 tablespoon finely slashed new mint

1 tablespoon finely slashed new cilantro

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon fit salt

½ teaspoon ground cumin

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon naturally ground dark pepper

Yogurt Sauce:

6 ounces Greek yogurt

3 teaspoons finely slashed new cilantro

3 teaspoons finely slashed new mint

1 teaspoon ground cumin

Zest of 1 lemon, minced

squeeze of ocean salt and naturally ground dark pepper

Guidelines

Preheat the broiler to 375°F.

Join all meatball fixings in a huge bowl and blend completely with your hands.

Structure into around 30 meatballs (around 2 teaspoons each) and place on a softly lubed preparing sheet.

Prepare until meatballs are never again pink in the center, around 14-15 minutes.

In the interim, consolidate all yogurt fixings in a little bowl and season with salt and dark pepper. Blend well. Serve over meatballs as well as with a side to plunge the meatballs into.
