Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri have a private 4 storey office building in Mumbai, India. In the situation of corona outbreaks, they propose to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to use it to increase quarantine capacity. It has everything for women, elders and children need.

BMC reported this news on Saturday (April 4th) by adding hashtags like ‘Stranger Together’, ‘Anything For Mumbai’ and ‘No To Corona’. At the same time, the company expressed gratitude to the Shahrukh-Gauri couple for their generosity.

In response to a BMC tweet, Gauri wrote, ‘We are both grateful to be part of helping Mumbai. Soon after the news, the ‘SRK Office for Quarantine’ hashtag became Twitter’s top trending in India.

Although, Shahrukh Khan already announces several initiatives to combat the coronavirus epidemic. He is donating to some relief funds. That’s including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on behalf of his cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), production organization Red Chilies Entertainment, Red Chilies VFX and charitable organization Mir Foundation.

Shah Rukh’s initiatives include unidentified donations of funds to Modi’s Relief Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He distributes 50,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) to Maharashtra and West Bengal. He also donates a month’s food aid to 5,500 families in Mumbai, food kitchens for 2,000 people, and cooking materials of thousands of people every day.

So, this is Shahrukh’s new move to help BMC in its efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus. And, the goal is not only to provide relief but also to raise awareness of COVID-19. Same time it will encourage those who can come forward.
