In the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2022, Team Diamond from Bangladesh, which included members from North South University and Daffodil International University, took home the ‘Most Inspirational’ trophy. Team leader Tisha Khandokar (DIU), system architect Injamamul Haque Sonet (DIU), user experience designer Munim Ahmed (DIU), programmer Abu Niaz (DIU), and researcher Zarin Chowdhury (DIU) make up the winning team (NSU).
NASA hosts the annual NASA Space Apps Challenge competition to highlight up-and-coming space engineers and innovations in youth-driven space exploration concepts and technologies. There were more than 5,300 teams competing this year from more than 160 nations.
