Maybe the bank also has an app. There is also the app of the company that is using the SIM or connection of the mobile operator. Recharging with it, buying the internet, sending bundles of gifts to loved ones.

 

There is also an app for taking ride services. All of these are native apps. It can be said that the domestic apps market has grown big enough without your knowledge. Those concerned say that the size of this market is now at least a thousand crore takas.

 

Excluding exports, the country’s app market is booming. There is a demand for government apps. Seeing the success of this sector, the government has also thought far-reaching. Initiatives have been taken to create developers with proper training on mobile apps and games. In the meantime, more than 16 thousand trainees have been trained. It is learned that new programs are being taken up in the future.

 

Through the app, mobile banking, e-commerce, online delivery system, media, entertainment, healthcare, education, online ticketing, travel, ride-sharing, medicine supply, etc. have gained a lot of popularity in the country.

 

Now any organization, especially if it is service-based, just like having a website, having an app has become a lot of rules. Banks, telecom operators are providing services through the app. Mobile is going to be recharged from the app, another is going to be recharged or even a gift is being given. Expenses are also going to be kept. Some banks are making arrangements to open accounts by downloading apps at home.

 

In this regard, Syed Almas Kabir, President of BASIS, an organization of software and service products manufacturers, said, “The market for local apps is growing. Many are now interested in creating apps. Those who just made websites are now making apps too. That’s a good thing. “

 

Website rating agency Alexa has published a list of the top 50 websites used by the people of Bangladesh. Of these, 20 are Bangladeshi apps.
