A woman’s life has never been very easy in our country. Even to achieve a little, women have to struggle a lot. Women mostly have to fight against all the odds and bring light to the life. The women who have made their way to earn a living, Corona epidemic has made that path tough again. Uncertainty at work, losing job, child marriage due to closure of educational institutions made girls’ life miserable. Also domestic violence and social torture on women have been increased during this time. As a consequence, many had to get back to their earlier life of grief.
Today is the International Women’s Day. With the slogan of ‘Women in Leadership: Covid-19 Building an Equitable World’ the day is being celebrated throughout the country. But the fight for equality is becoming more difficult for women. Falling behind institutionally, women are also being deprived from the government financial incentives for the survival and economy recovery during Covid 19. The reason behind is may be the lack of knowledge and papers but it demonstrates how much lacking we have education our women.
Women are the true warrior. They will see every hardness as a new opportunity. They will never leave the battle field, instead will find a way to the finishing line.
Not only on economy, unemployment of female during Covid also have an impact on the daily nutrition of their children. Report says 61% female garments workers have lost their job during Covid. With their earning most of these woman used to spend on the food for their children. Therefore, now they have to cut off some food which lead to insufficient food nutrition.
Like the cruel society, Corona’s injustice towards women is more than the other. Even if the husband lost the job, the wife has to be blame. Husband will take out his frustration on her by shouting or hitting physically. With all the marks on her mind or body, she has to do the daily chores. Also maintaining the children and other family members all by her own.
But as I say, women are true warrior. They will see every hardness as a new opportunity. They will never leave the battle field, instead will find a way to the finishing line. Corona is such situation that have challenged these self-made fighters to stand up with more determination than ever. And this is how a lot of women have emerged as entrepreneurs even during this pandemic. Going back to the life of dependency and economically unstable women get the strength to roar louder. With a small investment these women have dared to step forward and keep going. Also inspiring other girls to work with. Making own life, these entrepreneurs soon will be a leader to support our other girls. The journey from an employee to become a business woman will not be easy. In fact, harder than ever to some extent. But like always they will leave behind all failures with pride and success.
