Traffic Jam is a phenomenon. It doesn’t always happen because of a particular reason. Sometimes it’s due to the weather, road accident, or a popularly known thing called the “rush hour”, and we are not talking about the movie. No matter what the reason behind it is, we’ve all been stuck in one at least once in our lives. So here, we will make a checklist of essentials you must have with you or in the car if you want to survive in traffic.
- Book: There are definitely one or two books that you never got around to finish. Or, a book which you find so interesting that you want to read it any chance you get. Or, it can even be a puzzle book. Then here is your golden opportunity. Since you are stuck in static traffic anyways, might as well get something done. So, keep that unfinished or interesting book with you and take a crack at it every chance you get.
- Snacks: If you are going to be stuck in traffic for a long time then you will probably get hungry. Even if you don’t feel hungry but feel like munching on something to keep you busy. And it’s not a bad thing that it keeps your strength up. But don’t go bonkers and stuff yourself. Remember, you are in a traffic jam in the middle of a road where there is no way to relieve yourself.
- Water Bottle: Same thing as snacks. Whether you eat something or don’t, you need to stay hydrated. So keep Taking 1 or 2 sips every 5 mins. Any more and your bladder will burst like a volcano.
- Cushion: It helps to keep a cushion in the car for those long drives, or short ones that seem too long. Whether you’re the driver or a passenger, the cushion can help make the ride a little less tiresome. place it behind your neck, back or just sit on it for comfort.
- Phone: This is it. The most important tool that you could possibly need. You can listen to your favorite music, watch a movie or funny videos, play games, Call people you haven’t spoken to or need to speak to, or even read a book or an article. Let’s be honest here, you are probably reading this article because you are stuck in a jam yourself. Thankfully, that works for us.
These were the must-have essentials you need to keep if you wish to survive a gruesomely tiring traffic jam. Hopefully, you will keep these in your mind before you step out of the house. Remember to be safe and careful.
