After making her debut in Bollywood with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Anushka Sharma Instantly shot to stardom overnight. The actress has been actively delivering hits after hits with multiple projects each year. And it’s news of great joy for all her fans that she is all set to make her comeback to the silver screen in 2022.

Not just her fans but even the entire film industry is rejoicing at the prospect of her return to acting. Throughout the years, from 2008-2018, The actress has been climbing the ladder of popularity with projects and character portrayal showcasing a lot of versatility.

Her acting prowess made her the kind of actress who is very hard to stereotype into one specific genre. In one moment she is a sexy con-artist in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, then the next a village housewife supporting her husbands’ dreams in Sui Dhaaga.

And now that she is finally coming back not with just one or two but three huge films, we seriously can’t contain our curiosity and excitement. 2 out of 3 of the films are said to be major theatrical releases, and one will be a major production and will be released in a major OTT platform of India.

“she is expected to be mostly seen in three big projects, two of them being big screen entertainers, while one is a massively mounted OTT project. The scale with which this project is being conceptualized easily makes it the biggest film to be produced for the digital space in India!” a source has informed the Bollywood Hungama News portal.

Anushka Sharma was last seen in the 2018 film Zero where she played an NSAR scientist with cerebral palsy. See what we mean by versatility? After this, for a couple of reasons, she took a break from acting. Some of which include the Global Pandemic and also her little angle Vamika being born. Although she didn’t stop working entirely. She did appear in some Ads and continued producing other projects.

Now that Vamika will be 1 year old on January 11th, Anushka might feel ready to get back to her acting career. And we wish nothing but the best for her in all her future endeavors.
