Posting a video on Twitter, Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “We have begun a massive effort from the company. This time we bring together our product designers, engineering operations, packaging teams and our suppliers. They are working on designing, manufacturing and supplying Face Shield for healthcare workers.”

 

Tim Cook also says Apple will support efforts to combat coronavirus worldwide. The supply of these Face Shields will expand beyond the United States. The first shipment will be at the Santa Clara Valley Hospital in the United States.

 

These shields will manufacture in the United States and China. Showing a face shield in the video, he said it already receives positive feedback from doctors. It is easy to pack and add. Each shield assembles in less than two minutes and is perfectly adjustable.

 

Apple will unveil 1,000,000 face shields in the US this week. From then on, 1 million Face Shields can be brought to the market every week. The company is considering negotiating with US professional doctors and government officials to provide the shield in areas where there is an urgent need.
