The 2020 Grammy Awards were going all the way for Billie Eilish. The 18-year-old pop star honored with four of the night’s greatest awards, including best new artist, the record of the year, the album of the year, and song of the year.
In winning those four major awards, she also supplanted Taylor Swift as the youngest ever solo winner for album of the year and turned into the first lady and second individual ever to win record of the year, the album of the year, the song of the year, and best new artist around the same year.
Eilish and her big brother Finneas O’Connell worked together on their first album in a room of the Los Angeles-area home where they grew up. So, they have been cooperating for quite a long while. With Eilish just 14 when she won applause for the song Ocean Eyes. The song composed and created by her sibling — which was released online in 2016.
O’Connell said that they never thought that their album which addresses depression, suicidal thoughts, and climate change would reach that high and would be up for a Grammy.
