Actor Chris Evans has been named this year’s Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. John Oliver and Dwayne Johnson helped in the unveiling on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
Evans, who rose to fame playing the Marvel character Steve Rogers/Captain America and more recently Buzz Lightyear in the Pixar film “Lightyear” in 2022, said his most recent accomplishment will give his mother reason to gloat and more to rejoice.
“My mom will be so happy,” Evans, told People in his Sexiest Man Alive cover story. “She’s proud of everything I do but this is something she can really brag about.”
