The United States has sent a government official in the UK to refrain from using Huawei’s equipment to expand the 5G network. The UK will decide later this month. The news agency Reuters reported that UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson did not like that issue.
The US delegation presented new evidence to the UK government about the safety risks of using Huawei equipment. They called it ‘madness’.
Apparently Johnson told BBC TV that UK citizens have the right to have the best technology connection possible. He said that if people oppose the use of a brand or something else, they must inform them of the alternative.
Recently, US Senator Tom Cotton introduced a bill on the use of equipment used in the Huawei Five-G network. According to the bill, countries that use Huawei technology to implement Five-G have been told to stop exchanging intelligence with them.
If Tom Cotton’s bill or proposal was passed in the form of a law, the exchange of intelligence could have a huge impact on the United States and Europe. In addition, Huawei’s technology users may have an impact on other countries.
