A film by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon called “Hawa” just premiered on the 29th of July. The response the film got just on its first day was excellent. The movie also received positive reviews after the first day. On its opening day, it had record-breaking 70 shows in 24 theatres all across the country.
Bangladesh has not seen this level of enthusiasm for a local screening in decades. The theaters all across the country were houseful. Since the release, due to the overwhelming response hits like “Poran” and “Din the Day” were moved to make room for “Hawa.” The hall authorities are excited by this response and they are already selling advance tickets for next week’s show.
The story of “Hawa” will interest any film enthusiast. The story is depicting a boat full of fishermen in the middle of the sea. Later an unheard-of catch is discovered in the depths of the sea during their journey. On the boat, they caught a young woman who was stunning but rebellious and who later entered the world of men. The film’s plot is based on a folk tale.
Apart from the intriguing storyline what you will see that might amaze you is the visuals of the movie. It’s hard to find local production that is such a visual treat. The fans did get a glimpse of the movie in the official track of “Hawa” which was performed by Meghdol. The scene perfectly matched the singer’s deep voice. It sort of gave the scene a transcendental feeling.
The movie also stars some talented actors of the industry like Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, and many others. The performance on their part was also appreciated by the film goers. So, over all for what it seems “Hawa” is worth paying for every penny and we cant wait to see the future success it achieves.
