Pop star Katy Perry performed at the final match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 at MCG on Sunday 8 March. Apparently, a stunning performance delivered by Katy Perry.
It was the first-time live performance since she announcing her pregnancy. Katy even dancing in heels! Spectators loved so much the effort she produced and many praised her on their twitter status. Many people said that the performance she delivered was out of the world. The day was also a special one as the whole world celebrated the International Women’s Day. At the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) she performed during both the pre-game show and the post-coordinate festival.
Katy came to the ground stage with two ensemble outfits changes, both retro-themed and both flaunting her baby bump. She wore a 1960s-style pink, long-sleeved dress decorated with neon Venus images, signature the symbol female gender.
Prior to the match, Perry took to the middle at the MCG to play out her hits ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’. A gathering of back-up artists joined with Perry. Interestingly, the most particular of those were dressed as goliath cricket bats.
After the match, the triumphant Australian team joined with Katy Perry in front of an audience to dance and sing through the song ‘Firework’ once more. The match, played on International Women’s Day, drew a record-breaking gathering of 86,174.
