To survive in Corona, we are all instructed to follow a few rules such as- stay clean, stay at home, maintain social distance. But do we follow such things properly? The way the number of patients with corona is increasing is alarming. So, to save life and not find anyone else’s fault, let’s be aware of our own best. Many of them may have bought disinfectant sprays. Again, many may not have collected for the lockdown. So today we will discuss how to make disinfectant spray at low cost with just two ingredients.
What does it take to make a disinfectant spray?
The way we recommend you to make disinfectant spray will take only 2 ingredients. These are-
1) Savlon or Dettol
2) Water
And the container of your choice, with which you will spray!
Rules for making disinfectant spray:
1) First take 1 liter of water in a clean container or bottle.
2) Now you have to mix Dettol or Savlon in your house according to the quantity. According to Chemical Engineer M. Wally’s instructions, in 1 liter of water you can use 1 cap of Savlon’s economy pack of 500 ml which is 5/6 teaspoon.
3) If you mix this Savlon or Dettol and water mixture well, you will be ready to use disinfectant spray for your home. During this time of lockdown, you can use a disinfectant spray on the door when entering the house from outside. You can also use this on your own clothes and on the bags and shoes in the market. You can also take a small spray bottle and keep it outside or in your pocket.
Warnings and tips:
We need to be extra careful when using disinfectant sprays. Since we are at home in the lockdown, first of all we have to wash our hands with soap water for about 20 seconds. Whether you use Dettol, Savlon, or Lysol for home washing, you must follow this instruction. And children should be kept out of the reach of disinfectant spray.
If you have turpentine or paint spirit in your house, you can still use it as a disinfectant. Because, it is a substance of alcohol. However, since alcohol is a flammable substance, it cannot be used while using any kind of fire.
