Cannes Film Festival is among the biggest events that celebrate and showcase movies and documentaries selected from all over the world. The 74th season of this event went on for 12 days, from 6th to 17th of July, 2021. Among the hundreds of movies that were chosen to be screened at this event, “Rehana Maryam Noor” was one of them. The red carpet of this event was graced by the star of the movie Azmeri Haque Badhon and her team. Badhon wore the following 5 gorgeous outfits on different occasions of the festival made by various talented designers and renowned fashion brands of Bangladesh.
Let’s begin the count down with the order of appearance, shall we?

She adorned the 100-thread count beige-olive half-silk jamdani saree containing hand-woven motifs with golden “Jori” thread. She paired the saree with a halter neck blouse with a belt encrusted with white and ocean green jewels running down her spine. The whole Ensemble was completed with minimal jewelry, all with the same ocean green jewel on them and a silver clutch. Keeping the pandemic in mind she also sported a mask with the same material and design as the saree. Her entire look was carefully designed and crafted by the artisans of Aarong.

She looked absolutely Breathtaking, wearing a purple ash short dress at one of Cannes’ red carpet Events. She sported a one-shoulder dress with ruffles running down the shoulder to the other side. The handwork on the dress was not so over-powering yet very intricate. She paired it with long sleek earrings and the same silver clutch. Regarding this dress, Badhon posted saying, “When it comes to fusion attire, my go-to person is @nshumi of the Fashion House,@Azaaraz_by_shumie!”

This Navy Blue Outfit that can be best described as a fusion between a gown and a traditional saree was tailor to perfection for the actress. This is also a one-shoulder dress with black feathers stitched around the neckline and shoulder. The dress also has a train at the back with navy blue net fabric. This beautifully modernized version of a conservative attire was assembled by the Clothing Brand ZOAN ASH.

This powerful White Pant Suit with Black thin stripes along the length of this bold and beautiful woman cannot be compared with the other looks on this list. While the other ensembles are fused with tradition in one way or another to highlight her delicate features, this attire takes a completely different route. Apart from the laced black top underneath the suit, the rest shows off her empowered personality ready to take on the world. On the last day of the Cannes Film Festival for the Un Certain Regards Awards Ceremony, the Incredible and elegant actress chose yet another Glamorous creation from Azaaraz. This time Badhon donned a stunning piece of art in the form of a Red Flowy Jumpsuit made with Bengal’s pride- Muslin. It is embellished with golden work along the waistline and a squared neckline with cap sleeves. She paired it nicely with a silver-gold chocker.
Throughout Badhons’ whole Cannes Red Carpet journey she did not forget to represent the creativity, expertise, and strength of the Fashion world in Bangladesh. Stunning the world with her talents on the screen and her fashion sense, she is proving to be an unstoppable force.
