A researcher’s group of Gonoshasthaya-RNA Biotech Limited did a wonder! A concern of Gonoshasthaya Kendra literally builds a kit that can detect the identity of the novel coronavirus at a reasonable cost.
In the official statement, Gonoshasthaya said that a talented group of researchers was behind that project. They were attempting to plan and build up the procedure of the creation of the kit since February.
Giving a press statement yesterday, the researcher’s group said they are all set to the production of this kit. But, they need the administration affirmation. Again, they also liked to make this kit at an expense of Tk 200. And, individuals will get it for Tk 300.
The researcher team comprises Bijon Kumar Sil, the lead researcher. Nihad Adnan, Raeed Jamiruddin and Firoz Ahmed are other members of the team. Bijon was among the researcher who built up a unit to analyze SARS in 2003. So, the team is eventually an experienced one to rely on.
Conversing with the press, Nihad Adnan said they are now at developing part. Now, they are setting up a model of the kit. Nihad also said that they have the equation. So, they are going to build up the kit easily. They will go to production and start the preliminary process. But before that, they need administration endorsement.
News says, the Gonoshasthaya authority already applied for an endorsement from Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA). With their authorization, they will prepare this in one month.
