Netflix has debuted the first trailer and stills from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming web series Heeramandi.
The first look of Heeramandi out now. The teaser showcased Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
The series’ first image was released by Bhansali Productions and Netflix India with the caption “Another time, another era, another magical world created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali we can’t wait to be a part of. Here is a glimpse into the beautiful and intriguing world of Heeramandi. Coming soon.”
The series will represent the real scenario of Heeramandi, a dazzling district, during pre-independent India and explores the stories of courtesans. A mix of love, betrayal, and politics set in the kothas (house of courtesans) of Lahore’s infamous red-light area. Just like his stories, Heeramandi will include original compositions and melodies that the audience will remember.
