He was known for the Mewati Gharana music. Through his creation, he brought a unique individuality to songs. The use of thumri was his specialty. Although, for this innovation, he went through several criticisms at the beginning. Despite all criticism, as a musician, he has been breaking himself constantly, experimenting, and moving.
