Any new product launch event is not only exciting for the company but also for the general public. And Apple has always been known to throw the biggest events when it comes to releasing their new and innovative products out into the world. But it hasn’t even been 3 weeks after the launch of the iPhone 13 and yet it has created a wave of concern among its users.

Apparently, each screen of the iPhone 13 has been encrypted specifically by the manufacturer. So if the screen is damaged somehow, you will need to take it to an original Apple Store to get them replaced. Doing otherwise will deactivate the specific IC which will result in the Face ID feature of the phone being disabled.

Replacing the screen of an iPhone 13 without a warranty from an Apple store could cost upwards of Tk. 20,000/-. This is why many opt to get it done through local gadget repair shops. And that is when things start to go downwards. When the phone fails to read the specified code from the display screen, its Face ID detection feature stops working.

This decision by the well-reputed and highly lucrative company stems from the concern of counterfeit parts being used on their products. Some may have criticized this decision as another money-grabbing technique. But the company assured their customers that they are only looking out for the quality control of their brand.

In our daily lives, more often than not we opt for cheaper or more budget-friendly solutions when it comes to getting something fixed. And this exact decision will come back to bite us in the back with iPhone 13.

Whether it’s for the speed, accessibility, camera quality, high-resolution display, or the plethora of other features Apple has included in their gadgets, but you can’t deny owning one has always been on your wish list. However, what would you do if one of the most hyped-up features calls it quits on you?
