Ukraine’s fashion and their designers have been quite popular in the fashion industry over the years. You can see Ukrainian designs in some of the major fashion runways. Given the current crisis, people have been paying more attention to their brands and purchasing more from them in order to support them in these difficult times. 

Below we are presenting you with a list published in the Vogue magazine of brands that are supported by the USAID Competitive Economy Program. 

Chereshnivska-

Chereshnivska is a fashion brand based in Lviv, Ukraine. It started out small but with only 5 years was able to be successful. The brand is known for casual unisex clothing. Perfect for comfort lovers.

Elena Burenina-

Elena Burenina is a well-known artistic designer. She’s has been designing from 2006 and is known for coming up with the most innovative styles. Her designs her mostly minimalistic which is later contrasted with bold details. Her collections are presented in concept stores of Ukraine, Italy, China, and Canada.

Kachorovska-

A brand that’s been around more than half a century. Kacho Group is a famous manufacturer of accessories established in 1957. 

In 2015 they launched their own line of shoes and handbags. They use natural materials and unexpected accents for their bold designs.

Paskal

A brand founded in 2010 by Julia Paskal. Paskal is known for creating feminine aesthetic designs. It is also popular because of its minimalistic staples and innovative architecture. The designer graduated from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Therefore, the architectural influence is evident in the brand’s design. In 2016 they appeared in the Paris Fashion Week which was a turning point for the brand’s image.
