Improves Brain Function: A research study shows that consuming high flavanol cocoa can improve the blood flow to the brain and in time the cognitive ability of the brain. Mild cognitive impairment and verbal fluency can be improved in adults with moderate consumption.

According to Neuroscientist Will Clower, Ph.D., eating a bit of dark chocolate before or after meals sends a signal to the brain, you’re full. Moreover, chocolate behaves like a prebiotic that promotes the production of “good” bacteria in the gut which improves metabolism.
