We heard his voice describing the experience of the Bangladesh Liberation Artist Association in the documentary ‘Muktir Gaan’.

At the beginning of the liberation war, he joined this training group across the border. Being a member of Mukti Sangrami Shilpi Group he and his group members encouraged the freedom fighters through their singing in the refugee camps, freedom camps, and the free zone.

Eight trustees started the establishment of the Liberation Museum in 1996. He was one of them. From that time on, it became the focus of all his activities. He was the chief coordinator of the construction of a huge new museum in Agargaon.

This true cultural and patriotic personality also worked as the Executive member of the National Rabindranath Music Conference Council and Chayanat. Shommilito Samajik Andolon was another of his interests.
