This year Eid fell at one of the hottest and most humid time of the year. Therefore, before heading out we really must take necessary precautions for our makeup. Just imagine you spend all this time and effort doing your makeup and once you step outside of the house your face starts to melt. So, here are some tips on how you can avoid that from happening.

Cleanse your face properly

This might sound like a very simple step however, most of the times people either skip cleansing their face or they don’t do it properly. Remember to wash your face with cold water and then pat your face gently.

Use the right primer

For humid weather like ours using a primer is very important. It will smoothen your skin and create the perfect base for your face. It will also make the makeup stay longer in your face. But make sure you use the right primer keeping your face.

Try using foundation with a lighter consistency

When you use a foundation with a thicker consistency it might give you a better coverage but in the same time it might make your face sweat more. In this heat, you would want to opt for a much lighter foundation.

Don’t forget the setting spray

This is an absolute must after wearing makeup. The spray will help in making the makeup longer lasting.

Make sure you use waterproof products

Even with all the makeup precautions, you might still go for waterproof products. At some point, you might still sweat and to protect your makeup look you will need that. It will help stop your makeup from melting.

Carry blotting paper with you before heading out

To protect your makeup you need to avoid your face from getting oily. With blotting papers, you can remove the extra oil from your face and makeup.
