Outland Denim, named as the world’s most humanitarian denim, achieves the Global Thomson Reuters 2020 Stop Slavery Enterprise Award for their endeavors to stop forced labor. This is quite a praiseworthy approach that also wins the heart of a million consumers across the globe.
The honor perceives by organizations around the world that have taken “concrete steps to eradicate forced labor from their supply chains and business operations”. So, it’s really a prestigious award for the industry.
James Bartle, CEO of Outland Denim, describes this award like the Oscars of their industry! He said that it’s the ideal opportunity for all kinds of businesses to stand and quit slavery as a major aspect of their business. He also added that it is the ideal opportunity for them to believe or trust that it doesn’t exist. For that, they have to effectively work for it, he added.
