The third morning of the Lakmé Fashion Show started with a pair of love on Valentine’s Day. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, a romantic couple from Bollywood, walked the stage this morning.
Bengali Bipasha wore a black-and-gold combination saree designed by Assam’s designer Sangjukta. And the presence of her life partner Karan brings a new attraction to the event. Karan wore a black kurta over the black dhoti of the Assamese silk. There was a fine work of golden lace, combined with the color of his wife’s saree. Malaika Aurora, the ‘Chhaiya Chhaiya’ girl, sheds more light on the stage on the first morning of the spring season. Malaika stole it on the ramp by wearing Barun Chakkalam’s designed the maroon colored heavy Jardausi lehenga and choli. After that, newcomer Bollywood star Sai Manjrekar appeared on stage.
However, at Lakmé Fashion Show the show-stopper was Bollywood star, Dia Mirza. She burned the ramp by wearing a collection of clothes for the tour. Earlier on Thursday, the stage was painted by ‘Tennis girl’ Sania Mirza and Aditi Rao Haidari with their appearance.
All in all, it was a mesmerizing day for the fashion growers. All fashion lovers hoping that the upcoming days will come with lots of new and surprising things.
