1) Garlic spray

Garlic is called the “powerhouse of medicine and flavor.” We all know that garlic has many health benefits. But do you know that garlic is also effective in controlling insects and spiders! You will be surprised to hear that in the Middle Ages, Europeans also used garlic to suppress the plague. And in our ancient civilization, garlic was used to control insects and spiders.

You can also use garlic spray at home to avoid mosquito infestation. This garlic spray can be made very easily. Peel a squash, grate it and boil it in 1 cup or 1.5 cups of water. Take this mixture in a spray bottle and spray it on doors, windows, corners of the house, etc. That’s it! Yes, now, you can survive the mosquito infestation.

2) Uses of Tulsi

Usually we use Tulsi for cold and cough. But according to a study in the journal Parasitology Research, tulsi is a very effective ingredient to destroy mosquito larvae and mosquito repellent. So, you can make a spray by boiling a few tulsi leaves in water. This will reduce the number of mosquitoes in the house.

3) Peppermint oil

Mint leaves are also very beneficial for health. It contains menthol which helps in curing pain and relieves cold. Surprising but true, the smell of mint kills mosquitoes. A study in the Journal of Bioresource Technology found that mint leaves have the ability to repel mosquitoes. In a small bottle, take coconut oil or almond oil and dip a few mint leaves in it. After 2-3 days, the oil should be extracted from the leaves. And if you don’t want to make oil, you can also give hot water vapor by burning mint leaves. And now you can use this oil as a mosquito repellent.

4) Lemon and cloves

Maybe this way more or less everyone knows. However, there is no harm in taking a look once. Cut the lemon in half or cut it into four pieces and put some cloves in it. Only the head of the clove will be outside. The rest will be inside the lemon. Then place it in the corner of the room and near the window. As soon as the mosquitoes are removed, the sweet fragrance will spread from the mixture!

5) Neem oil

Neem oil is easily used for allergies and infections. However, we may not use a neem tree to protect ourselves from mosquitoes or insects. But from now on you can use it. Because neem oil is a natural mosquito repellent.
