Finally, almost six years after his first venture as the highly intelligent neurosurgeon turned sorcerer who ends up saving the universe, Dr. Stephen Strange(Benedict Cumberbatch) will again grace our screens with his solo presence. That right in May of 2022, if all circumstances are in favor, then The sequel to Doctor Strange rightfully titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be in theatres all over the world.

So far we have seen him lending a helping hand to the other MCU heroes in their times of struggle. But this time he is the lead. And guess who else will be there to support his journey? If you thought Sorcerer Supreme Wong(Benedict Wong), then that’s a given. But From the trailer and if you’ve watched Spiderman: No Way Home you already know that it’s Wanda Maximoff(Elizabeth Olsen).

We can see Strange asking for her help in order to learn more about the multiverse and how he can save everyone. So by now if you’re not caught up with WandaVision, Loki, and What if…? you will be clueless after the 2:11 minutes of the teaser. But every movie and show in the MCU are interconnected. Sounds interesting and exhausting at the same time, we know. However, let’s wait and watch what miracles this team of two of the most powerful sorcerers can do.

Now let’s talk about the big bad guy of this movie, which is, surprise, surprise, Doctor Strange himself. This is undoubtedly an evil version of him from one of the multiverses. One popular fan theory suggests that he is Strange Supreme from What If…?. From a universe where Doctor Strange pursued the knowledge of magic after losing his girlfriend, Christine Palmer(Rachel McAdams). In an attempt to turn back time and resurrect her from death, he ends up calling upon the destruction of the universe.

What now? When you flood the theatre in the first half of 2022, make sure you’re updated on every storyline that takes action under the MCU banner. Be ready to take a magical journey through the realms of mystic and mystery which is guaranteed to blow your mind.
