The popular HBO TV series Game of Thrones prequel the House of Dragon’s trailer is finally here. After the somewhat uneasy way GOT ended the fans of the show have been eagerly waiting for this prequel. And we got the first glimpse of the show last night on its trailer.
The story takes us back to the house of Targaryen from 200 years back from where Game of Thrones started. The plot will revolve around the history known as the Dance of the Dragons. It will mostly deal with the conflicts that took place right before the Targaryen civil war. You will definitely get to encounter the war in which the dragons will go extinct. When you look at the visuals you will get the nostalgia of watching GOT. The visuals and the effects and the dragons will take you back. You will also notice some exciting new characters and their stories. You see this time around there is this power struggle on who will sit on the iron throne. For the first time, you will see female lead Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen wanting the iron throne all by herself. You can notice a bit of diversity in the storyline as well.
From the visuals, the story, and the characters we can definitely hope for something great from this drama series. HBO announced that the show will premiere on the 21st of August 2022. They did set the bar high with this exciting premiere so we cant wait to see how it all unfolds.
