Ingredients:

Dalda / Vegetable Shortening – 1/2 cup

Sugar- One and a half cup

Eggs – 3

Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp

Red Food Color: 2 tbsp

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp

buttermilk – 1 cup

Flour – two and a half cups

Baking soda – one and a half teaspoons

 

Method: 

Whisk together one and a half cups of shortening and sugar until it is inflamed. Boil the eggs in between. Make a paste by mixing cocoa, red food coloring. Mix with salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, buttermilk. Now slowly mix the flour with the batter. In the end, mix the soda. Do not tear again.

Pour this mixture into the greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes, unless it bakes as good as inside. If required, you can give some fresh fruit while baking. Or even give caramelized fruit.

Your Red Velvet Cake is now ready. Now, serve with frosting or cream as you like.
